Hi, as many of you know, I have been taking candids and portraits for 30+ years. Once in the beginning I had a friend ask, what happens when you get tired of taking pictures? It never occurred to me to stop enjoying what I love most or at least as much as I love my husband. At the beginning I was focusing on people pictures. The whole reason for starting the photography while my children attended high school was for the preparation for the social interactions that would be missed once they graduated and were gone. You may be familiar with the saying, the empty nest syndrome. A terrible thing! But good in the sense it got me out into the world and I had the great pleasure of meeting so many new friends!
As I am maturing, I have also began to slow down. The wreck I had in August sure never helped. Recovering from a broken pelvis is not fun nor easy. The love I have for photography is still with me. Just expanding and developing. I notice I am beginning to like flowers, scenery and street photography.
For my friends who ask for family, couples, senior (old or young) or individual sessions, absolutely- let me know so we can schedule your session!
If you ever want to go on a photography walk, think of me, contact me and we can go together. How much fun we can have- LOTS!
